Accountant, Retail, Seed Accounting – (Loveland, Colorado, U.S.A.)

This position reports into the Supervisor, Retail, Seed Accounting.

This position is located in Loveland, Colorado, U.S.A. and is not available for remote work.

What you will do:

  • Month-end accruals, allocation entries, and clearing of activity as appropriate
  • Coordinate with suppliers, retail branches, and internal stakeholders to assist with seed transactions
  • Provide direction to retail branches on proper seed accounting procedures including phone, webinar, and in person trainings as needed
  • Problem-solving and analysis, both independently and in collaborative environments
  • Learn and understand overall accounting impacts pertinent to role
  • Prepare and distributes monthly reports
  • Ad hoc projects as requested

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from recognized institution
  • 1 -3 years accounting experience preferred
  • Strong Excel/Office skills
  • Driven, self-starter: innovative, forward-thinking
  • Problem solving and critical thinking
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and work well with competing deadlines
  • Adaptability
  • Knowledge of accounting principles

Compensation & Benefits:

$43,750-$62,500 annual salary.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our plan(s), which provide discretionary award opportunities reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.
