Identifies opportunities to deepen relationships via loan, deposit, and treasury services.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Other duties may be assigned.Provides timely and direct feedback relating to newly developed systems and processes aimed at creating excellent client experiences and internal efficienciesEngage with business banking clients and prospects in order to uncover and meet their borrowing, depository, and treasury needs.Develops relationships with Centers of Influence to identify business banking prospects.Maintains a prospect list and systematically calls on the business banking prospects.Works internally referred business banking prospects (Commercial, Mortgage, Branch, Treasury).Helps develop and maintain a marketing plan for both existing and prospective clients, including opportunities to leverage social media, email, and other forms of outreach.Reviews loan requests for suitability to the Bank’s credit, profitability and policy standards.Represents the Bank at various community functions, particularly those in which business banking clients are present.Manages a portfolio of business banking relationships to meet client needs on an ongoing basis.Participates in community outreach programming aimed at early-stage business owners seeking to better understand the business lending process.Other duties and projects as requested.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESNoneQUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university and three to five years of similar related banking experience including experience as a credit analyst.

Sales experience in a banking setting preferred.MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to apply concepts of basic algebra as well as various concepts of corporate finance.REASONING ABILITYAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.WORK ENVIRONMENT Ability to work in an office environment which may include many hours of computer and phone usage.
