Bohemian Companies ( Bohemian Asset Management) – INVESTMENT ANALYST

Job Description:

Bohemian Asset Management (BAM) is seeking an Investment Analyst (IA) for our existing investment team. The IA will be responsible and accountable for participating in the analysis of the current investment portfolio, researching, analyzing, recommending, monitoring and reporting on a broad range of investments. The IA will also participate in the team’s economic and market analysis. The IA will report to the Investment Manager(s). The location of the position has yet to be determined, but the position will be based in either Fort Collins, CO or Vancouver, WA.

About Bohemian Asset Management:

BAM is the investment organization for a family office located in Fort Collins, CO and BAM maintains offices in both Fort Collins, CO and Vancouver, WA. BAM manages a broad range of assets including investments in bonds, stocks, real estate, alternatives and private equity.

Qualifications and Experience:

Two to five years of work experience in traditional or alternative investments, business or related fields. Candidates for the position must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics or accounting, or in lieu of a degree, six years of related work experience. The ideal candidate will have proven analytical skills for investments including fixed income, equities and alternatives. In addition, the preferred candidate will have strong communication skills, strong work ethic and be self-motivated. Candidates should also be adept in maintaining positive, mutually productive relationships with staff, stakeholders, investors and other constituents. The position initially requires not more than 20% travel in the western United States.

Compensation

The minimum starting pay for this position is $75,000 annually. All regular, full-time employees are eligible for medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, wellness benefits, retirement savings and company match. Additional benefits include sixteen paid holidays, flexible time off, new parent leave, staff education and eligibility for education reimbursement.
