SQL Developer and Support Specialist

This is a Full-time position in Fort Collins, CO posted May 9, 2022.

Managed Business Solutions is seeking an SQL Database Specialist with a primary focus on MS SQL Server database development and operations support.

This is a full-time, salariedbenefited role which will work on-site in Ft.

Collins, CO in support of our National Park Service Program Team.

Only local candidates will be considered, no relocation available.

Responsibilities This person will design, review and implement Database Schema, stored procedures and functions.

Support functional migration tasks of databases based upon user requirements.

Develop logic and database tier of 3-tier environment Familiarity with object-relational mapping (ORM) Support evolution from predominantly On-Premise based database deployments to Cloud based environments Develop and Support Database Projects and related Azure devOps Pipelines and deployments The Database Specialist provides support in compiling, arranging, storing and retrieving information to facilitate customer, project or program report development.

Work as a team member for the entire software development life cycle, from functional requirements through testing and maintenance.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field Must be proficient in MS SQL Server and T-SQL Experience with MS Database Platform tools including SSRS, SSAS, PowerBi Experience designing and developing database using Visual Studio tools and Azure DevOps repositories.

Experiencing deploying Data-Tier applications via CICD processes.

Must have a customer-service orientation and creativity in problem-solving.

Desired Skills Understanding of federal guidelines, environments, and operational policies Current or prior federal background investigation or clearance (examples include NACI, MBI, Public Trust, DOD-Secret, etc.).

Must be a US citizen for this federal partnership role.

Demonstrated experience with natural resource IT systems.

Environment (Working conditions, physical requirements) This position will require moving of up to 10 lbs.

This position will be mostly stationary requiring some movement around the office and frequent communication with others.

The average working hours will be 8 hours per day for this position with occasional need to exceed.
