40 hours/week.This is a dual role position Intake Coordinator / Care Manager & Licensed Therapist / Care CoordinatorPay range is between $25.64-$38.46/hr, depending on years of relevant and like experience.Boulder Community Health is a Certified Level II Trauma Center.

Come be part of an independent, community-focused health system; feel good knowing that your work will make a difference in people’s lives and positively contribute to the community.Job 1 Licensed Therapist / Care Coordinator:POSITION SUMMARYThe Psychotherapist provides outpatient psychotherapy for adult clients in the Boulder Community Health (BCH) Counseling Center.

The position requires strong skills in providing evidenced-based psychotherapy in a confidential, respectful, and non-judgmental manner.

The Psychotherapist conducts assessments of clients using a biopsychosocial model informed by a robust knowledge of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-5).

The Psychotherapist position requires the ability to manage treatment and continuity of care for clients throughout their treatment course at the BCH Counseling Center.

The Psychotherapist works collaboratively with a treatment team, including psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners.

The Psychotherapist is required to perform clinically related administrative tasks, including documentation and coordination of insurance benefits, in a timely, effective, and efficient manner.

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work and communicate well with others are critical aspects of this position.JOB QUALIFICATIONSEducation or Formal Training1.

Master of Social Work (MSW) degree required.2.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy training preferred.Special Qualifications (Licensure, Registration, etc.) for LCSW 4099Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in good standing in the State of Colorado required.Knowledge, Skill and Ability1.

Experience in performing evidenced-based psychotherapy2.

Ability to evaluate and create effective treatment plans for adult clients with a wide range of psychosocial issues and impairments3.

Ability to document psychotherapy sessions in a clear, concise, and timely manner4.

Demonstrated knowledge of DSM-55.

Excellent verbal and written communication ability6.

Proficient computer-related skills7.

Working knowledge of managed care, including terminology, structure, and process8.

Working knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare regulations.9.

Knowledge of healthcare systems and reimbursement systems10.

Working knowledge of current state and federal laws relating to mental health (27-10 and Standards and Guidelines).

Working knowledge of Joint Commission rules and regulations.Experience1.

2-3 years of experience in a psychiatric setting inpatient and/or outpatient or private practice preferred.2.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy training preferred3.

Experience with a multi-disciplinary team approach.WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES1.
