Manages the daily operations of the assigned department(s) or function to ensure alignment with departmental and organizational objectives.Position requires the proven ability to lead physicians and inspire care teams to constantly exceed patient expectation by driving quality and performance improvement.Greeley Medical Center Manager- Oversee IM/FM practices including 20+ providers, 40+ staff FTEWork Schedule: Full Time Days.Responsibilities:Executes specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.Adheres to departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems, equipment, and supplies purchases; monitors usage and oversees proper working order and stock supplies.Adheres to quality standards and goals for patient care delivered and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments.Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.Develops business cases to gain support of necessary department resourcesEnsures a smooth and predictable delivery of care and the ability to solve complex patient concernsCommunications, written and verbal, to internal and external customersRelationship developmentWithin scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with competing priorities while taking appropriate action.Requirements:* Credentials:Minimum Required Education: HS diploma or GED. Preferred Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.Required Licensure/Certification: Relevant life support certification as determined at position level.Minimum Experience: 3 years of healthcare experience. Preferred: Minimum 5 years of proven experience leading in complex healthcare delivery system or Minimum 7 years of proven experience leading large group practicesThis position’s pay range starts at: $32.49/hour.An annual bonus may be paid to eligible employees based upon organizational and individual performance.UCHealth offers their employees a competitive and comprehensive total rewards package.
