In this Payroll Administrator role, you will manage the production of accurate and timely payroll for employees.

– Work with Information Technology, Human Resources, and other internal business partners to ensure security protocols for pay systemsnn nn nn nn
– Meet current payroll tax requirements and relevant laws associated with the processing of employee wage data, including payroll taxes, employee federal and state income and social security taxes and other required reportingnn nn nn nn
– Investigate pay practices related to FLSA, other payroll areas, and fringe benefit reporting to determine how those practices apply to advise managementnn nn nn nn
– Administer quarterly and year-end payroll reportsnn nn nn nn
– Confirm timely processing of payroll in accordance with labor regulations and standard accounting principlesnn nn nn nn
– Expand systems and protocols to direct the collection, calculation and entering of pay datann nn nn nn
– Supervise voluntary deductions, as well as wage garnishments, pay levies, and other involuntary court-ordered payments in a timely manner, including reporting to the necessary authoritiesnn nn nn nn
– Go over data entered by others in the payroll software to include, but not limited to salary/wage increases, benefit deductions, employee termination dates, and employee leaves of absence under FMLA or other unpaid leavenn nn nn nn
– Accommodate staff with fringe benefits, pay related issues, general questions related to payroll, PTO accruals, and wage deductionsnn nn nn nn
– Conduct regular payroll reporting as required and assist with financial audits related to pay records and associated general ledgernn n n Job Requirements: n
– Knowledge in an HRIS system and high proficiency with spreadsheets
– Skill in garnishments, processing liens, and various withholdings
– CPP or FPC is preferential
– Adeptness in Legal Compliance
– Process Bi-weekly Payroll experience
– Process Payroll experience
– Weekly Payroll experience
– Benefits coordination experience preferred
– Full Cycle Payroll experience highly desired
– Demonstrated knowledge of Eligibility Verification
