Senior Manager, Experienced Talent Recruiting

Bain’s Experienced Talent Recruiting (ETR) team helps bring talent with bold thinking and the desire to have an impact to Bain.

We are a global team, deeply committed to creating seamless experiences for our hiring leaders and candidates, who engage with us as a springboard for building their teams and careers.

Our work focuses on hiring talent across our Expert Client Delivery, Engine 2, and Functional Professionals organizations, which include client-facing consulting roles requiring deep expertise, analytical and technical roles, and all of our roles in groups like Finance, Talent Management, Marketing and Learning & Development.

We work closely with senior leadership across every geography, industry and capability area as well as every business function globally.

WHAT YOULL DO As we expand our recruiting efforts, we are seeking to align teams of recruiters with global organizations within Bain that have significant hiring objectives over a 2-3 year horizon.

ETR is looking for experienced recruiting leaders that can advise senior stakeholders on their long-term hiring approaches, develop and operationalize hiring sprints in focused talent pools (functional
– and/or market-specific), and consistently bring top, diverse talent to Bain.

Key Priorities: Design & deliver hiring approach for specific Bain organization to attract and source best talent for annual hiring needs.

Build relationships with multiple, internal senior stakeholders to become a trusted talent advisor.

Pilot and ‘test & learn’ new ways of direct sourcing with a high focus on increasing diversity to support Bain’s overall DEI efforts.

Build pipeline of talent in partnership with ETR’s Global Candidate Development team.

Empower team of 2-4 recruiters globally to prioritize, sequence, and execute talent searches to maximize effectiveness and efficiency as a team, and deliver best-in-class candidate and internal stakeholder experiences.

Be an inspiring leader on our ETR team as well as an active recruiter, leading by example and providing coaching to a team of recruiters.

Be nimble and inspire high recruiting performance, and pivot regularly to improve ability to deliver top talent to the business.

ABOUT YOU Track record of recruiting success: A minimum of 7 years of previous experience in recruiting, with experience hiring in multiple regions or markets across varying levels (junior and senior hiring).

Experience working in a global management consulting firm or other professional services environment is highly preferred.

Skilled problem solver who can structure creative ways to address complex hiring needs.

Client service acumen: A relationship builder who is highly service-oriented, and able to listen to the talent needs of stakeholders and translate what they hear into meaningful recruiting actions, with the ability to influence leading to successful outcomes.

A trusted advisor, highly capable of advising senior leaders on talent strategy, and building credibility along the way.

Minimum of two years’ experience managing multiple people, with a passion for developing, inspiring, empowering, and motivating team members.

Strong leadership and project management skills with ability to prioritize, empower team, and adapt as needed to get to the best possible solution.
