Our employees are not only part of history, they’re making history.Northrop Grumman Space Systems is looking for Software Engineer 1/2 to support our Missle Defense Solutions operations at our Boulder, CO facilitiesDesigns, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software.Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems.Ensures software standards are met.This position may be filled at a Associate Software Engineer (level 1) or Software Engineer (Level 2)Basic Qualifications:Level 1 – Bachelors degree in ScienceLevel 2 – 2 years of related experience with a Bachelors; 0 years of related experience with a MastersExperience with LinuxC/C++, Python, Java development experienceBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math or related disciplineDoD Top Secret clearance that is or has been active within the last two yearsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with DevOps and Agile DevelopmentSalary Range: 66880 100320Salary Range 2: 81664 122496Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
