Logistics Specialist-eCommerce

Growcentia, Inc

This is a Full-time position in Fort Collins, CO posted June 10, 2021.

Reports to            Operations Manager

Location               Main Office, 500 East Vine Drive, Fort Collins, CO 80524

Position Type       Hourly – 40 hours a week (8:30am – 5:00pm MST, Monday – Friday)

Pay $15 per hour




The eCommerce logistics specialist will work under supervision of the Operations Manager and Inventory and Logistics Team Lead in performing packaging, shipping, receiving, and inventory duties with a focus on Growcentia’s eCommerce website. Additionally, the eCommerce logistics specialist will support general shipping and receiving duties as needed.



? Process eCommerce website orders for domestic outbound shipping.

? Prepare packages for domestic (U.S.) and international orders using a variety of different logistics/freight.

? Ensure the quality and integrity of packages (both incoming and outgoing)

? Prepare Garden Kits and Sample Kits ahead of time for efficient order fulfilment.

? Receive incoming packages for all departments, distribute them as necessary.

? Move, rearrange, organize product on shelves to optimize organization and efficiency.

? Maintain inventory and carry out Inventory counting Standard Operating Procedures and update records for finished goods and all logistics/shipping materials

? Significantly contribute to improvements in eCommerce management projects

? Demonstrate a good knowledge of MS Word and Excel

? Strong interpersonal skills: clear and concise oral and written communication is needed

? Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

? Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs., stand on feet for up to 8 hours and climb ladders up to 8 ft in height

? Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines, while being detail oriented.

? Strong ability to work independently, as well as collaborate within a team environment.

? Knowledge of principles and practices of packaging and shipping departments

? Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

? Independent time management skills

? Take initiative, seek out and implement new processes for continuous improvement within the department.

? Strong attention to detail (cleaning bottles, fixing labels, packing meticulously, etc)




? High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 1 years’ experience with shipping/packaging responsibilities

? Prior experience using and maintaining eCommerce interfaces including but not limited to Shopify and Big Commerce strongly preferred.




While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to listen and communicate verbally. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. The employee will be required to stand up to 8 hours and lift 50 lbs. regularly throughout their shift. Occasionally operate at heights around 8 ft. while on a ladder.

The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee may spend time in front of a computer screen entering shipping, receiving or inventory data, send emails, etc. While the job duties are not hazardous or strenuous, many times the work is performed under pressure when there is a heavy flow of incoming work or activity, or under stress of deadlines.




This work takes place in a warehouse with both air conditioning and heating. Buzzing sounds are very common, as well as other loud sounds such as the garage door, the forklift, etc. Somewhat tight work area, so maintaining attention to know what’s happening around you is necessary.
