Aerotek hiring for a global technology leader in Fort Collins, CO that designs develops and supplies semiconductor and infrastructure software solutions fabrication facility paying up to $25/hour!
At the Fort Collins site fabrication facility y ou will part of a 24×7 team of >1200 employees and contractors that produces the highest level of wireless semiconductor products for cell phones, smart watches and WiFi solutions throughout the world.

As an operator, you will be trained through standard operating procedures to run a variety of tools with your team members and move material through the production line, troubleshooting issues and achieving results together.

Job Title : Manufacturing Operator
Responsibilities: Performs a variety of functions in the production of semiconductor devices that include using wafer fabrication tools and processes, testing product, and delivering product to work areas.

Must have an uncompromising dedication to following safety procedures and protocol.

Uses written procedures and process specifications in completing assignments.

Works collaboratively and professionally in a team environment to achieve production goals.
Description:
Typically 8-10 hours per day are spent standing and walking while continuously lifting and moving ~10 lb.

Work time is spent in a cleanroom environment wearing a full body, head to foot, clean room suit.

Additional Personal Protective Equipment must also be worn when handling or working indirectly with hazardous materials.
Applicants for night shift openings (working 6:00pm-6:15am) is strongly preferred.

Job Complexity:
Works on assignments that may be complex in nature, requiring judgment and troubleshooting skills.

Basic process decision-making required.

Assignments may span multiple work areas.

Uses broad job knowledge to drive operating improvements.
Supervision:
Ability to work with minimal supervision.

May take team leadership roles to coordinate activities on a daily basis.
Experience:
5 years of manufacturing experience required.
Each operator gets a paid 1-hour lunch break and two paid 30-minute breaks during each full shift.
Hiring Criteria:
Must have high school diploma or GED.
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Must be able to speak and comprehend English, as all documentation and instructions are written in English.
Must not be color-blind, in order to respond to color-coded indications in the fab.
Must be willing to get a full COVID vaccination within 60 days of starting work, or have a valid medical or religious exception approved by HR before starting.
All work requires full gowning due to high product quality requirements.
Minimum 5 years previous manufacturing or military experience (includes fabrication, warehouse, shipping and manufacturing supervisory, but not retail experience).

An associate’s degree can count for 1 year of previous experience and Bachelor’s degree can count for 2 years of previous experience, with 2 years max credit for education.
Basic computer literacy is needed, as our fab requires use of systems to run the correct material, log tools up and down for production, and report discrepancies from normal performance.
The job includes standing/walking for up to 10 hours during the shift.

The product is held in ~10 pound boxes, which must be moved and loaded on/off tools throughout the shift.
Good communication and collaboration skills are essential for working effectively in the fab teams.
Must be able to follow instructions, with attention to detail to create high quality products.
Pay: $22 – 25/hr, depending on experience and shift
Shifts:
A: 6:00 am to 6:15 pm Su-Tu and every other Wednesday, 5% shift premium added to all hours worked due to Sunday shift
B: 6:00 am to 6:15 pm every other Wednesday and Th-Sa, 5% shift premium added to all hours worked due to Saturday shift
C: 6:00 pm to 6:15 am Su-Tu and every other Wednesday, 10% shift premium added to all hours worked due to night shift and additional 5% shift premium due to Sunday shift – total shift premium 15%
D: 6:00 pm to 6:15 am every other Wednesday and Th-Sa, 10% shift premium added to all hours worked due to night shift and additional 5% shift premium added to all hours worked for both Saturday and Sunday (morning) hours – total shift premium 20%
