Lab Glassware Technician


This is a Contract position in Fort Collins, CO posted May 10, 2022.

Job Summary The glassware technician is responsible for pick up, wash, dry, and delivery of lab glassware; autoclaving, checking eyewashes; tracking metrics; other duties as assigned including site garment management and safety initiatives.

MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Inventory management including r eceiving stockroom orders, 3
– point quality check, sorting of materials and delivering to designated area s , d ock i nventory / organization Carries out washing, autoclaving, and tubing assembly; may include collection , inspection , distribution , data collection of various types of items A ccurately record and communicate information to internal and external teams U nderstand and follow S tandard O perating P rocedures Use inventory management system(s) Perform Safety
– focused O perations: D ocumenting/reporting observations, while carrying out basic safety scope ( e.g.

eye wash stations, safety showers, extinguisher, ERT carts, etc.) Opportunity to cross train other functions at the site QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or GED preferred but not required 1 years glass wash experience preferred and/or applicable work experience Previous experience working in a GMP facility a plus Knowledge of scientific products and services a plus KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES Strong communication skills Excellent customer service skills; display a professional can-do attitude Perform duties with the highest regard for safety and quality Must be flexible, motivated, and have the ability to act independently Need to be ale to safely lift up to 50lbs Must exhibit core values and behaviors (Integrity, respect, collaboration, accountability, etc) Capable of working in an independent manner Must have the ability to understand, read, and write technical information ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL EFFORT The work environment characteristics and physical effort described here are representative of those an associate encounter while performing the essential functions of this job.
