Production Technician

Advanced Thermovoltaic Systems

This is a Part-time position in Fort Collins, CO posted November 25, 2021.

Advanced Thermovoltaic Systems is seeking a Production Technician with a strong background in manufacturing to join our team.

Technicians will collaborate with senior engineers and receive hands on experience in assembly, SMT line operation, and product testing.

The successful candidate will bring a combination of manufacturing skills, product assembly skills, and mechanical aptitude.

This position offers you the ability to work on the most challenging, interesting, and cutting-edge products and solutions, aiding in technology that leads the industry.

We want you to grow throughout your time with Advanced Thermovoltaic Systems while helping us push our product to a new level!

The work hours for this position are flexible due to our production schedule.

We will have a few 10-12 hour shifts as needed and may work on Saturdays as needed.

Otherwise, it will be eight hour shifts Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with the manufacturing team in the SMT line to assemble products
Inspect and test finished products
Identify problems with production or manufactured goods
Analyze machinery and tools to report faults or broken items
Assemble fixtures needed to perform quality assurance
Collect and record production data into a production system
Follow receiving procedures in receiving packages
Assist in packaging products for shipment
Provide feedback for product development team for next generation designs
Assist in day-to-day operations and manufacturing
Support and shadow engineering team
Physical Activities
Remaining in stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another
Adjusting or moving objects up to 40 pounds in all directions
Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
Operating machinery and/or power tools
Qualifications

Required Skills
Fluent in English (oral and written)
Good motor skills and the ability to do fine assembly
Ability to meet the physical demands for the activities listed above
Ability to read engineering drawings
Good organization skills
Able to work with little guidance alone as well as in a team
Shows initiative and drive and willing to learn and grow
Good communicator
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Office 365 suite software skills
Preferred Skills
Familiar with shipping documents including bill of lading and packing slips
Three (3) plus years’ experience in production assembly
OSHA 10 or 30-Hour Certification
5S Skillset
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $23.00
– $26.00 per hour

Weekend availability
