Fort Collins Veterinary Emergency and Rehabilitation Center is now
hiring a Full-Time Veterinary Technician to join our amazing team! We are an AAHA and VECCs certified facility, providing 24/7 services to the community of Northern Colorado.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a credentialed nurse to work overnights in our emergency department. Our Veterinary Technicians are responsible for the care and treatment of unstable and or critically ill patients, triaging emergency patients, monitoring hospitalized patients, performing patient laboratory tests, treatments and nursing care, admitting and discharging patients, client communication and education, and basic reception duties. We are currently hiring for three 12-hour overnight shifts per week.

The ideal candidate:

Has a flexible schedule
Possesses superior customer service skills
Experienced in emergency veterinary medicine
Works well on a team
Has strong communication skills
Has a strong veterinary skillset
Certification preferred, but not required.

Job Responsibilities:

Calculate drug doses
Placing IV catheters
Performing in-house diagnostics
Monitoring critical patients
Assisting in surgery
Monitoring anesthesia
Performing triage
Administering CPR
Willing to work in a fast-paced environment

Pay Range: $18-25/hr; depending on certification(s) and experience.
