nn nn nn VALVE TECHNICIAN nn nn Job Details nn nn Entity: Select Full Time / Part Time: Full Time nn nn FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt nn nn Business Unit: Well Testing Reports to: Operations Manager nn nn Travel Requirement: Yes nn nn   nn nn Job Description  nn nn Select’s Valve Technician is responsible for general upkeep of well locations and yard as well as mechanical repairs on equipment; construction, threading pipes, perform mechanical hookups with pumps and valves and general labor duties at location or yard.

nn nn The essential job functions include, but are not limited to nn Load, unload, and identify materials, machinery, and tools, and distribute them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans and specifications Store and stack material, rebuild valves and equipment after completing each job Read and interpret plans, instructions, and specifications to determine work activities Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials Position, align, or level machines, equipment, or structures Tend to pumps, compressor, and generators to provide power for tools, machinery, and equipment, or to heat and move materials Maintain clean tools, equipment, machinery and work areas
– lubricate machinery, equipment or parts Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards Perform stick-picking, shoveling, shoring, braces, ramps and other temporary structures Operate power construction equipment, host or winch, hand and power tools Knowledge of construction machines, and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance nn   nn nn Other duties nn nn Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
