Position Summary

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will work closely with our Credit Manager and engage with all of our 16 stores and their customers.

Under limited supervision, the successful candidate will perform accounts receivable functions following established Company procedures including but not limited to applying customer payments in an accurate and timely manner, making inquiries to obtain missing information or verifying unusual data and the processing and distribution of monthly statements.

Essential Duties:
Review customer remittances and other deposit details Accurately apply customer payments to open accounts, general ledgers, or stock units Scan payments daily to create PDF supporting files.

Accept credit card payments via secure email or phone Answer customer account questions and provide copies of invoices, credits, or statements as needed.

Research and reconcile customer accounts as needed Post internal notes, alerts, and attachments to customer accounts Generate and distribute monthly customer statements Provide information and support to operating departments Provide input for continuous process improvements Other duties as may be assigned
Education and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent, two year degree preferred Two or more years’ experience Good verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail Excellent customer service skills required Basic Excel skills
Physical Demands
Must be able to sit and type for the majority of a workday Business casual attire.

Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality is vital.

Must attend work regularly and to arrive at work on time.

Failure to do so detrimentally affects team morale and productivity.
