BI Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a BI Analyst in Loveland, CO. What you will do:

  • Manage requirements elicitation, analysis and guide solution design to meet data and integration needs
  • Teach and advocate the use of business intelligence tools across all levels of the organization
  • Coordinate with data owners to ensure data accessibility and quality
  • Promote usability standards and design solutions with a high-quality, effortless UX
  • Proactively monitor industry, functional, and technology trends to guide business on emerging opportunities
  • Envision new opportunities to leverage and integrate data or applications to enhance business value
  • Use advanced analytics methods to extract value from business data
  • Perform large-scale experimentation and builds data-driven models to answer business questions
  • Identify and analyze errors and inconsistencies in the data and provides timely resolutions
  • Design, develop, and maintain reports and analytical tools
  • Perform ongoing monitoring and refinement of reports
  • Provide technical support for existing reports, dashboards, or other tools
  • Create ad hoc reports and views on a frequent basis to assist management in understanding, researching and analyzing issues

Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Query, Power Apps, Power Automate)
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business analytics
  • Knowledge of common query methods and languages (e.g. SQL, API’s, OData, ODBC, etc.)
  • Background in Computer Science, Business Analysis, or IT Management an asset
  • Demonstrated experience using data to drive business decisions
  • Strong understanding of data and integration architecture
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts in plain language
  • Influencing skills and demonstrated ability to engage both developers and business partners to achieve target outcomes
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to take initiative in problem solving
  • Demonstrated time management skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities and demanding timelines
  • A commitment to continuous learning and improvement
