POSITION SUMMARY:

Works effectively within existing processes to execute raw material forecasting and the delivery of raw material in accordance to the replenishment strategy and waiting for parts.

Handles raw materials expediting, cycle counting,

purge, and DMR administration, and excess/obsolete analyses in support of global repair operations.

Continuously contributes and provides feedback on existing planning and inventory control processes in support of global repair turnaround time initiatives and inventory optimization.

Manages global inventory levels in order to reduce service response times while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory liabilities.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain ERP MRP parameters and forecasts to optimize global continuity of supply and inventory levels.Conduct quarterly excess/obsolete inventory analyses to identify required inventory reserves, and to locate opportunities to redistribute slow-moving inventory for consumption.Conduct quarterly min/max and forecast analyses to validate current replenishment strategies, and to locate areas to improve our response time while reducing inventory.Continuously contributes to improving replenishment strategies; reducing service response time while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory liabilities.Book material orders and ensure timely delivery for all repair sites based on replenishment strategy and waiting for parts.Create work orders to support rework, conversions, or Global Service kits.Monitor material purges and DMRs and subsequent return of material for disposition.Monitor cycle counting programs globally, assisting with inventory reconcilations and corrective actions to achieve targeted accuracy levels.Data management (material master, spare part pricing and annual price rolls, souce lists and info records),Work closely with Global Services program managers to develop and implement replenishment plans for new product introductions and customer upgrade programs.Close working relationship with logistics, operations and planning to ensure the fastest possible repair turnaround time for our customers.

Includes coordinating with the import and export control teams as necessary.Work with Operations Supply Chain Management to expedite raw material pull-ins to meet requirements.Provide commit dates to global repair depots and Customer Advocates for material shipments to satisfy global repair operations demand.Works with Configuration Management, Engineering, Product Marketing, Operations Planning, and Repair Operations to plan for and implement Engineering Change Orders.Other duties as assigned.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Works in a standard office environment utilizing standard office equipment, ERP and email systems, and office productivity software tools like Excel, Word, and Visio.

Travel could be required (< 10%) in support of training remote repair operations. SKILLS: Ability to utilize the full Microsoft Office Suite at an advanced level of proficiency. Ability to utilize ERP system (SAP). EXPERIENCE: Essential: Zero to three years of experience in a planning or inventory control position. Desirable: Previous experience supporting a global repair business with remote depots. EDUCATION: Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent education and/or experience. Desirable: APICS certification Compensation: $50,000
– $65,000
