Project Engineer – NGG Mission Processing Team with Security Clearance

As a Project Engineer for the NGG (Next Gen Geo) Ground Mission Processing team, you will:
• Support the NextGen GEO Ground team in Cost Account Management of all Mission Processing related activities (procurement, planning, execution, ETC, EAC, VAR analysis, Earned Value Management, Subcontract coordination) • Assist program Control Account Manager (CAM) and help tracking and reporting of program Earned value management (EVM)
• Coordinate the planning, organizing, control, integration and completion of Engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility
• Support Ad hoc tasking by Mission Processing team leadership Typically has 2 – 5 years of professional experience. • Experience with developing and maintaining schedules for projects or activities
• Good communication skills to communicate with numerous stakeholders internal and external to the team. • Experience with Microsoft Office products (MS Project, Excel, Word, PPT)
• Ability to coordinate/integrate a multitude of tasks
• Understands CAM basics (ex. ETC, EAC, EV etc)
Desired Skills:
• Related experience with cost account management, project engineering/management, finance, budgeting
• Practical knowledge of planning tools
• Experienced with Microsoft Project
• Experience in briefing and interfacing with senior level management and customers
• Experience with IT hardware, procurement, BOM management/execution
• Technical or Engineering background
• Knowledge of planning processes including critical paths analysis, risks, and Earned Value implementation from a planning perspective
• Demonstrated successful task/project execution
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal
