Workday Benefit Operations Analyst

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Customer Experience & Delivery business group within Alight Solutions.

This position supports Alight’s ongoing benefits administration within our Workday practice.

The Benefits Analyst is responsible for supporting the benefits lead and their aligned clients, including: Primarily responsible for providing day-to-day semi-routine client support, including but not limited to resolving tickets and performing complex processing, researching data issues and providing resolutions, conducting audits and edit cleanup, generating ad hoc reports, training/auditing aligned offshore team, and testing system processes Provides resolution in accordance with due dates and documents/maintains SOP documentation and processes Escalates issues/client noncompliance of processes/procedures as appropriate Adheres to internal and external audit requirements for specific clients Serves as a key contact for Operations teams with regards to Workday Health & Welfare administration expertise Provides ongoing training to support the rollout of new operations processes and documentation Identifies and researches issues/system defects (with/without guidance) and formulates resolutions/recommendations by analyzing fact patterns and applying/following SOPs and best practices Helps to identify and implement ideas for improving the domain specific processes and methodologies Builds strong relationships with client teams, client representatives, internal Alight teams and third-party providers Achieves team and individual targets (KPIs, SLAs, quality targets) Contributes to broader team goals and supports the rest of the team based on their needs (a buddy to less experienced colleagues and supporting more senior colleagues) Job Requirements 1 years of experience with Health and Welfare Benefits administration is preferred Knowledge of benefits business, including products and services, operations, and delivery Experience with a benefits outsourcing system and application platform Possesses strong analytical, technical and problem-solving skills and abilities Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative, virtual environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Able to work under tight deadlines while managing multiple tasks Skilled at working within a Workflow Management Tool and related reports desired Works with third-party providers (both Alight partners and client partners) to ensure seamless process delivery Additional Expectations Foster relationships internally and externally Work with global and offshore resources may require flexible hours Technical Skills Proficient in Microsoft applications including Excel Workday experience preferred Education Bachelor’s Degree (in a business context preferred) or equivalent work experience By applying for a position with Alight, you understand that, should you be made an offer, it will be contingent on your undergoing and successfully completing a background check consistent with Alight’s employment policies.
