Summary Reporting to the to the Manager of Sales and Trade Analytics, the Business Analyst, Sales and Trade Analytics is a critical company role supporting the Analytics Team to capture and organize relevant data into actionable insights.

He or she will help develop user friendly tools and in-depth analyses to influence strategic business decisions internally as well as externally with our valued customers.

On occasion, the role also comes with direct exposure to senior leadership and strategic customers to help implement growth plans.This position will be based out of our corporate office in Boulder, CO and is also available for a remote work opportunity across the US.ResponsibilitiesWork across multiple data sources (Nielsen proficiency required)Create dashboards and key reportsDistill primary and secondary research down to easy-to-digest insights Proactively anticipate business and insights needsTrain cross functional teammates on analytics initiatives.Prepare monthly reports and/or manage special projects, as directed or assigned.Develop and maintain successful professional working relationships with relevant internal corporate departments and external distributor/customer partners.Develop, create and explain business analytics to deliver critical insights and fuel growth agendasEngage in internal analyses, research, product analyses and pricing strategiesMaintain competitive knowledge to help inform sales strategiesPerform other tasks as required or assigned.RequirementsPost-secondary education in Business or related field (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent)Minimum three years related insights and/or analytics experience, preferably within a consumer-packaged goods environment.Data/Insights mining expert with syndicated tools (Nielsen, pos, and household panel)Experienced in creating and building tools and analysis processes.Customer service orientation with the ability to effectively communicate across diverse stakeholder groups both internal and external.Strong analytical skills and proven experience translating data into actionable insights.Strong project management skills and the ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and execute according to timelines.Ability to attend and/or conduct presentations/meetings.Hunger for continuous learning and self improvementPositive contributor to a fun, fast-paced team cultureSome extended hours of work may be required.
