Sales Analyst


This is a Contract position in Boulder, CO posted May 10, 2022.

Position Summary: The Sales Analyst is responsible for providing analysis and counsel to North American Sales channel leaders who are responsible for implementing the sales organizations objectives and goals.

Reporting to the Sales Enablement and Operations manager, this role acts as a trusted advisor to the sales leadership team, detecting emerging trends, analyzing margins and looking for opportunities and challenges to drive greater sales and increased margins.

The analyst will partner with and support Sales Leaders, Sales Management, Financial Planning & Analysis and marketing by managing data and data sources as well as preparing periodic reports on key metrics.

This role in collaboration with FP&A, will lead the annual Business Planning process with the sales team and work with the sellers to increase ongoing forecast accuracy.

Core Functions: Sales Analytics: Provide Sales trends and Data Insights and reporting to Sales Leadership Weekly Summary of top sales/contracts Monthly Reporting and associated analysis of data with insights on drivers for gains and loses Accelerate initiative reporting and tracking Value Add Product analysis Work with Marketing team to identify and provide trend analysis by sales channel Business Plan and Forecast Attainment Performance: Managing the Business Plan process with Sales and FP&A.

Analyze forecast attainment to improve performance with sales team.

Data Governance on Sales Hierarchy / Seller Assignments, IBC Data/ ABC Segmentation in SAP
– assist in segmentation, reporting and data management of the end user data and improve data quality Customer Profitability Analysis
– identifying trends in margin, trade spend and performance penalties to including investigating causes for unexpected results Project work as assigned Skill/Experience Requirements: Strong data analytical skills with experience in reporting and interpretation through compiling large amounts of data into an understandable format to support problem solving.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including ability to succinctly synthesize data, develop recommendations, create slides, and present to senior leaders Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in the areas of analytics, business, marketing, etc.

Highly proficient in MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook) Experience with databases such as Tableau Knowledge of SAP a plus Drawing insights with data to support Sales Leadership decision making Strong data analytical skills with experience in reporting and interpretation through compiling large amounts of data into an understandable format to support problem solving In order to protect all employees and maintain a safe working environment, Bunge requires employees in U.S.
