Sell to existing and new business relationships by providing excellent customer service and using effective sales strategies.

Serve customers by phone, email, and walk-in with orders, quotes, and inquiries

Use a consultative sales approach to recommend new products and opportunities to customers

Route Management

Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships along a regular delivery route / territory and build sales

Coordinate directly with buyers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders

Communicate market changes, specials, and promotions to customers

Seek out and cultivate new customer relationships to build sales

Develop market strategies and achieve sales goals

Product Management

Place orders to prevent outages and maintain healthy inventory turns

Communicate cost, sell, and market changes to sales team and customers on a timely basis

Provide product knowledge to sales team and customers

Negotiate costs to grow sales while maintaining or growing profitability/margins

Develop market strategies and achieve sales goals

Qualifications / Skills:

Excellent customer service

Sales experience; understanding the sales process

Ambition to learn, grow, and achieve goals – including career growth opportunities

Effective communication skills by phone, email, and interpersonal

Detailed note-taking and organized records-keeping

Active listening

Detail oriented

Computer efficient; Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

(In-house training is provided for additional programs in use)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00
– $60,000.00 per year
