Technical Sales Engineer Position Summary

Wasson-ECE has an opening for technical sales and system design position.

The right candidate will be self-motivated and utilize their technical and chemistry skills to design the best solutions for the customer.

This is a full time, long term position for the right candidate.

Salary negotiable based on experience.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Learns to design systems based on prospective customer’s sample composition and analytical requirements.


Establishes, develops, and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organization’s products and services.


Stays in communications by email, phone, in-person visits, and technical presentations to existing and prospective customers.


Researches sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.



Education: A four-year college degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.

Work Experience: Gas chromatography experience preferred.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Attention to detail a must Ability to work with engineers to design specialized, custom devices that a project may need A strong desire to learn and grow one’s career Solid communication skills

Work Environment, Schedule, and Benefits
$45,000 – $58,000 salary wage, depending on experience Work will generally be conducted in the lab and production environment, working at a desk, and require light lifting This position requires business travel up to 20% Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm and work as the job duties demand Paid holidays, Paid time off, 401(k), Medical, Dental, LTD, STD, Life and Vision Insurance
