Bargreen Ellingson’s operational personnel are critical to the success of the company and a major factor is us being the largest supplier of durable kitchen wares in 8 of the 9 states in which we operate, positioning us as the 7th largest Equipment and Supply dealer in the nation.

At Bargreen Ellingson, we have grown from 6 distribution facilities to 22 over the span of our current Director of Ops’ tenure at the company.

Put differently, we have gone from 120,000 square feet of distribution space to over 700,000 today.

Today we inventory over 13,000 unique SKUs.

Essential Functions: Logistics Strategy & Execution:
· Leads the entire Operations function and workflow for the organization’s 22 distribution facilities.

· Confirms or revises our current supply chain structure and distribution plan
· Introduce material handling technologies to improve distribution efficiency and accuracy
· Integral member of the company’s executive committee, reporting directly to ownership
· Manages the Operations budget for the main distribution hub while offering guidance at the branch level, especially in optimal inventory strategies.

· Manage operationally significant supplier relationships including Freight, Fleet, and Labor Placement companies.

· Highlight and address intracompany workflow challenges and conflicts between sales functions as well as operational activities.

· Oversees our primary distribution warehouse and leaders
· Offer guidance and mentorship to other operations managers throughout the organization while instilling common practices throughout the organization.

· Establishes and publishes companywide KPIs and reporting standards.

People Leadership:
· Reinforces our On-Board values throughout Bargreen Ellingson.

· Translates company initiatives into actionable items
· Building an effective leadership team to lead all Operational functions
· Set clear, actionable goals and expectations, and provide visibility to what success looks like.

· Provide a path for upward mobility for rising stars A bit more… A Director of Logistics at Bargreen Ellingson would be working with predominantly owner-occupied real estate which presents a unique opportunity to invest in long term infrastructure projects in pursuit of smoother operations and better inventory management.

All existing warehouses are on an up-to[1]date cloud-based ERP system, presenting the opportunity to improve or overlay a warehouse management system to improve efficiencies across the organization.

Often, our drivers interact with our customers as much as anyone and separate us from our competition which rely on third party delivery companies.

· 5 years of distribution or logistics management
· 5 years of experience managing people with a focus on training, development, innovation and process improvement
· Experience overseeing integrated multi-warehouse operations ideal
