If you’re as passionate about your future as we are, join our team.KPMG is currently seeking a Director Risk Management-Technology to join our Risk Management organization.Responsibilities:+ Apply comprehensive or specialist-level knowledge in leading activities to identify, evaluate and help mitigate technology review process by working productively and strategically with other groups, business leadership, project managers and project team members to help efficiently and effectively analyze and complete reviews+ Strategically interact with partners and engagement teams to provide Risk Management policy guidance and to resolve questions regarding the application of such policy+ Direct comprehensive oversight related to compliance management across the lines of business; oversee and provide guidance on effective challenge across first line processes and compliance management policies and processes; perform horizon scanning, risk sensing and enterprise risk assessment and analysis; lead periodic compliance activities to help make certain technology project teams and first line management in the US and Americas adhere to respective requirements+ Proactively develop, implement, recommend and own new technology governance and review methodologies and protocols as emerging technologies are adopted by the firm; contribute to the improvement of Risk Management processes, materials and tools and actively engage in Risk Management initiatives and may lead process enhancement in key area(s)+ Provide active coaching, mentoring and knowledge-sharing with junior staff to advance their career development and manage and review those team members work product; contribute to planning for short term needs, i.e.

projects and processes; may construct annual plan for deployment of those resources; may have people management responsibility for a mid-sized to small team of entry level through intermediate level professionals+ Strategic and proactive responsibility to lead teams in identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities and significantly contributing to innovation through implementation of enhancements of Risk Management processes, materials and tools and actively engage in Risk Management initiativesQualifications:+ Minimum six years of recent related work experience in IT risks and controls+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university; possess relevant IT or Risk Management certification (e.g.

CRISC, CISSP, CISM, CISA, CIPP, CGEIT, CRMA, CIA)+ Hands-on, engaged and accountable management and leadership approach, with ability to manage multiple concurrent programs, applying expertise to make concrete decisions that impact the Risk organization and the firm+ Outstanding verbal/written communication, collaboration, negotiation and influencing skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and teamwork; ability to direct, motivate and empower others to work towards the organization’s goals, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across multiple functions; ensure execution of strategic initiatives for the organization; ability to address emerging opportunities and how organization should be organized/staffed to realize themKPMG LLP (the U.S.
