The Role

We have an amazing opportunity for an energetic, charismatic, and financially-minded relationship manager to solve hard problems and push renewable energy forward. 

Specifically, you’ll be the main point of contact on the financing side of the business, which provides loans to our network of commercial and industrial solar clients across the country.

You’ll guide these relationships from inception through close and you’ll communicate with partners on a daily basis to solve problems, answer questions, negotiate terms to help them secure financing for their solar projects.

In this role, you’ll measure success by dollars-deployed, megawatts-built and engaged solar partners.

If you get excited about bringing an entirely new asset class to market, closing million-dollar deals every week, building an organization aimed at saving the world, and ensuring that all of the details needed to make all of that happen are covered, this is the role for you.

Compensation: $130k
– $150k/year + equity, based on experience

About You

  • Account Management Experience
    – You have 6+ years of experience closing technical deals, whether in a project finance role, a sales capacity, or any other context.

    You know how to work to understand what your customer/client needs, and you know your way around a financial model.

    Experience within the solar or banking industries will be helpful.

    You’ve built countless trusted relationships and guide your clients through processes with ease.

  • Superior Communication Skills
    – You recognize that partners have different communication styles; you know how to meet them in their medium and speak their language.

  • Quantitative
    – While client interaction is a big part of the job, comfort with numbers is a must.

    You’re comfortable with financial concepts and can speak eloquently about them.

  • Sales Hunger
    – You love hopping on the phone, sending emails, attending industry conferences, developing relationships, digging into the details, and hitting aggressive targets.

  • A No-Task-Is-Too-Small Attitude
    – Wunder is a lean financial technology company, but we close big deals and make a big impact.
