Engineering Manager – Embedded Electronics

This is a Full-time position in Loveland, CO posted October 12, 2021.

Our partner is a global manufacturer of industrial components for many industries including aerospace, automotive, defense, and industrial industries. Having been in business for 100+ years, they have facilities and clients in multiple countries. We are currently looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a team of 8-12 in the development and production launch of embedded electronic products. This position will be located in the northern Colorado front range.

Job Requirements:

Duties:

  • Lead engineering group with a focus on embedded electronics specifically for harsh environments.   This team is responsible to design, develop, validate, improve platforms, products, systems or applications
  • Provide supervision, planning, development and execution on projects, programs, and continuous improvement initiates
  • Responsibilities include managing platform, new product introduction, and sustaining engineering
  • Implement platform strategy across multiple functions including full product life cycle responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineer; Master’s preferred
  • 8+ years experience with new product development of embedded electronics; ideally would come from a similar industry such as aerospace, automotive, or industrial (although not a requirement)
  • Demonstrated leadership in product life cycle with embedded electronics; strong program/project management experience required
  • Proven experience managing people and delivering products; strong communication skills
  • Experience in lean manufacturing, six sigma, and agile scrum helpful
