Primary Responsibilities The Director of Sales and Marketing will strategize, plan, direct, coordinate and influence the development and execution of sales, marketing and merchandising initiatives for KeHEs Exclusive Brands division.

They are our Director of Brand Love.

Our brand champion tirelessly advocating for, and communicating the purpose behind, our exclusive brands products to internal and external stakeholders.

This role will lead the growth of KeHEs Exclusive Brands through marketing initiatives, driving brand loyalty, education and sales.

They are the conduit between the Exclusive Brands team and KeHEs larger sales organization and a key member of the Exclusive Brands leadership team with direct responsibility for shaping team culture and identity.

Essential Functions Develop and execute sales plans and programs that ensure the sales and profitability of KeHEs multiple Exclusive Brands product lines.

Develop and analyze retail customer potential and partner with KeHE sales teams to implement action plans for revenue growth.

Lead the development of new business and sales initiatives for all Exclusive Brands products.

Development of promotional and merchandising strategies for key retail account partners.

Responsible for the evolution of KeHEs multiple proprietary brands.

To include the creation of new brands and the evolution of existing brand identities.

Act as a critical link in our efforts to drive profitability and achieve stickiness with our retail partners.

Support KeHEs drive for brand innovation to strengthen our market position and grow market share.

Establish effective coordination and communication of sales information and activities internally to all division and corporate sales personnel, and externally to all customers.

Responsible for education, training and development of KeHE sales force with regards to the features, benefits and merchandising solutions of all Exclusive Brands products.

Responsible for the creation, analysis and distribution of category management information in support of new business development Develop and execute national sales and business development strategy with existing KeHE accounts and potential new accounts.

Present KeHEs exclusive brands product in customer-facing product demonstrations and develop pricing and promotional models to support their sale.

Support regional promotional programs and present at regional sales meetings.

Participate in regional and national trade events and represent the company through public speaking and participation in industry associations.

Oversee customer relationship management initiatives to respond to consumer inquiries.

Support the development of marketing tactics and sales collateral in line with brand strategy.

Align with KeHEs marketing team to develop internal/external omni-media marketing materials.

Lead graphic design and label development for new and existing products across all KeHE brands.

Responsible for the growth and success of at least 5 direct reports.

Other duties and special projects as requested Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude Bachelor”s Degree in business administration, marketing or a similar field preferred A minimum of eight (8) years of sales, marketing, and merchandising management experience, preferably in the consumer package goods industry.

Proficiency with MS Office required and a thorough understanding of industry, market, and consumer trends a must.

Must possess strong cognitive, reasoning, problem solving, and analytical skills.

Must be self-motivated and have excellent organizational and communication skills.

Must have a high energy level and be comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities.

Ability to get along with diverse personalities; tactful, mature, and flexible.

Good reasoning abilities and sound judgment.

Must be resourceful, highly dependable, efficient and detailed oriented.

Must have the ability to establish credibility and be decisive while being able to recognize and support the organizations preferences and priorities.

Need to be service oriented while being assertive/persuasive.
