Primary Responsibilities KeHEs multiple lines of exclusive brands products offer private label solutions for retailers seeking to offer compelling natural foods items to the communities they serve.

The Product Development Manager plays an integral role on the KeHE Exclusive Brands team, ensuring these products offer the variety and mix our retail partners need to compete in an ever-changing marketplace.

This role leads product innovation and sourcing for our group, ensuring our products remain at the forefront of food trends.

They are a critical link to our brand strategy, and a key partner on sales initiatives.

The right person will help us evolve our product offerings, ensuring a food-forward approach to acquiring new customers, and improving the satisfaction of existing retail partners.

Essential Functions Responsible for new product development and evolution of our existing Exclusive Brands assortment of products to improve our selection with on-trend organic and natural items.

Be a driving force behind product development with responsibility for the entire product life cycle from concept to commercialization.

Bring forward innovative concepts for new products consistent with brand positioning using SPINS and cost analytics.

Use personal knowledge of food and food trends to offer a compelling and innovative product mix.

Leverage analytics to determine market price for product mix and portfolio.

Seek out and secure suppliers who provide items with key attributes that align with our product standards.

Determine supplier capabilities; verify certifications, production run size capabilities, logistics, and more.

Partner with suppliers to create volume estimates for production and inventory needs.

Work with sales and marketing team to determine target wholesale and retail costs while meeting strategic margin objectives.

Work with internal design team and suppliers to create and execute packaging that meets regulatory requirements and stands out on shelf.

Present key selling points to marketing and sales partners via presentations to large internal audiences Partner with and support the development of marketing tactics and sales collateral in-line with brand strategy and channel goals.

Ability to effectively manage a wide variety of tasks simultaneously.

Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with rapidly shifting priorities.

Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude Bachelors in Product Development, Business, or related field.

Five to Seven years in relevant retail or consumer product industry role.

Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook skills.

A demonstrated passion for culinary trends, organic food, and healthy lifestyle.

Experience with syndicated data (SPINS, Nielsen, Spectra, etc.)by Jobble
