The main purpose of the Operations Director is to manage the Operations team to meet shipment, revenue, and gross margin commitments, including Machine Shop and System Assembly, Supply Chain (planning, buying, shipping, receiving), Manufacturing Engineering (custom design work and system testing to meet specifications), Facilities, and Safety.


  • Maximize efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration
  • Set strategic goals for and drive continuous improvement in on-time shipments, cost reduction, product quality, and process simplicity across manufacturing, logistics, machine shop, and engineering departments
  • Collaborate with executive level management in the development of financial and performance goals and long-term operational plans
  • Work with executive management peers, such as Business Development and R&D, as a team to ensure business meets its financial commitments, both revenue and profit
  • Build and maintain relationships with all department heads, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals
  • Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for the day-to-day performance of the operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks
  • Devise strategies to ensure growth of programs enterprise-wide, identifying and implementing process improvements that will maximize output and minimize costs
  • Uphold organization policies and standards, ensuring legislative regulations and safety measures are followed
  • Oversee facility management to ensure the safety, security, and relative comfort of all employees at site


  • 8+ years’ management experience in a production environment
  • Technically competent in mechanical and electrical disciplines, with at least a bachelor’s degree in engineering highly preferred
  • Proven ability to plan and manage operational process for maximum efficiency and productivity
  • Ability to streamline and implement new structures and roles that create speed, efficiency, and support rapidly shifting business demands
  • Strong working knowledge of industry and safety regulations
  • Strong organizational, critical thinking, communication, problem solving, and leadership skills

The salary compensation starts at: $165,000
Bonuses, based on a percentage of your earnings, are offered on a quarterly basis calculated on company performance.
