Senior Business Development Manager – New Solutions


This is a Full-time position in fort collins, CO posted September 12, 2021.

You will play a key role in HP”s Advanced Compute and Solutions team reinventing how we enable professional workflows for hybrid work from local, edge compute and the cloud.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • You will help develop new business opportunities within HP following the Lean Startup methodology.
  • Work directly with pilot customers to maximize learning and iterate on business model as needed.
  • Identify and document customer pain points and workflows
  • Ensure customer happiness and success with deployment
  • Partner closely with product managers to refine product offering and develop Go-to-Market strategy.
  • Work closely with technologists in the innovation engine of HP

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • BA or BS in Marketing or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Industry, sales and/or channel experience.
  • You have startup experience and are comfortable moving fast, wearing multiple hats and adjusting day to day activities as the business evolves.
  • You may have experience with data centers or marketing consumer services.

Knowledge and skills:

  • Strong team player, self-starter, motivated, proactive, curious
  • Strong business/financial acumen
  • Ability to effectively communicate through authentic conversation and effective listening.
  • Strong written and presentation skills and demonstrated ability to influence and persuade
  • Robust project management and prioritization skills

The estimated range of compensation for this job at the time of this posting is $130,500 – $159,500. This position may be eligible for incentive pay, for openings where this is applicable.
