Senior Digital Marketing Manager


This is a Full-time position in Boulder, CO posted September 14, 2021.

One month working here is equivalent to about a year of media buying experience at a typical agency.

You will report to our Managing Partner leading the agency.

Who We Want:

Agexa is looking for a Marketing Manager experienced in leading prospective client meetings, creating holistic media strategy, providing mentorship and managing junior buyers, and running day-to-day performance campaigns.

The right person is a strategist and tactician, this position will be responsible for having a deep understanding of how social/digital marketing, creative, and analytics intersect.

If you can communicate complex ideas clearly, present new concepts and directions, and lead a marketing team with conviction, collaboration and transparency we want you.

What You Will Do:

Create and execute go-to market strategy for new or existing clients.

Lead the development of media strategy and building media plans (including audience targeting and segmentation, messaging, and budgeting, etc.).

Manage a portfolio of performance marketing campaigns across paid social including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Search, and Display.

Analyze performance metrics of all digital marketing strategies and recommend appropriate action to increase conversions and relevant business outcomes.

Perform landing page audits, rigorous A/B testing, and optimization

Maintain cutting-edge knowledge of strategies in paid social media (network betas and updates, innovation opportunities, etc.).

What Killing It Looks Like:

Success in your day-to-day looks like: having full awareness of your ad accounts performance and spend pacing, creating and executing a full-funnel ad account strategy, writing copy and building ads, communicating results with your clients, and providing feedback for juniors to improve their performance.

Success in your first 3 months looks like: month-over-month improvement scaling and optimizing accounts, taking full ownership of at least three different clients, leading at least three client calls and delivering pertinent information to them, helping us branch into one new niche, and providing guidance and mentorship including weekly syncs to at least 3 juniors.

Success in your first 6 months looks like: becoming a strong advocate for juniors, helping overall agency performance improve through junior upskilling, increasing talent density, and individual performance.

What You Will Bring to the Table:

Ability to manage budgets greater than $90,000 a month on Facebook/Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, AdWords, or Pinterest Ads (at least 1 of these 4 platforms).

Ability to own all aspects of the media buying process; tracking, ad creation, optimization, scaling, and reporting while driving positive ROI and scale (3k
– $5k spend / day) as the ultimate KPIs.

Ability to communicate headwinds, tailwinds & new opportunities to relevant team members based on knowledge and experience of how Google Display Network behaves (i.e.

projecting CPC increases of X% due to holiday online shopping).

Report on all elements of the campaigns, including planning, performance, and goals.

Ability to audit landing page, rigorous A/B testing, and optimization.

Ability to maintain a high level, up-to-date understanding of best practices and strategies pertaining to the Google platform (i.e.

Product Betas).
