What will you be doing in your first year:

  • Evaluate all of our current offerings, our culture, and business goals to craft a total rewards strategy that aligns to each while meeting the needs and requirements of the team. 
  • Stay in tune with the market through survey data, feedback from the talent attraction team, and global research to ensure we are offering a compelling complement to our great people and our mission. 
  • Work closely with our brokers to craft a long term, sustainable benefits strategy that makes JumpCloud the destination for talent.
  • Evaluate our current compensation philosophy and structure to ensure we live up to our principles as we continue to scale the company both in size and geographic location.
  • Work closely with the People team and other internal partners to ensure the needs of people are being surfaced, discussed, and evaluated. 
  • Ensure that we maintain a strong partnership with the finance team to remain compliant with all of our obligations regarding HIPAA, ERISA, FLSA,, etc.
  • Integrate our HRIS with our technology stack through partnership with external vendors, owners of the stack, and our BIS team. 
  • Operate at multiple levels (ground to sky).

    This is a new role in the company and you will have to be willing to do the work as we build the strategy, assess our needs, and determine the best path forward.

What you bring to the table:

  • An entrepreneurial approach to the function
    – understanding our unique culture, the team, and our aspirations to create a world class experience for every JumpCloudian and to be able to measure the effectiveness of the program objectively.
  • A teachers mentality
    – The ability to develop deep connections with every team member in the company so that they have the confidence, support, and savvy to easily navigate our options and create the best package to meet their individual circumstance.
  • The desire to embrace change and continue to grow every day.
  • 3-5 years of leading the total rewards function, that includes a strong understanding of relevant laws (ADA, HIPAA, FMLA, FLSA, COBRA, etc.), vendor selection, and management, and international expansion.

Nice to haves:

  • Experience with ADP and Lattice.
  • Experience in a growth stage SaaS company.
  • M&A 

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the approximate annual compensation range for this role, depending on individual candidate level and experience, is $125,000-$150,000, including base salary and any related bonuses or commissions.

Where you’ll be working 

All our roles are remote in the U.S.

unless otherwise specified.

Our Headquarters is in the Denver/Boulder, CO area.

Once we reopen our offices you will have the opportunity to remain fully remote (in the U.S.), work from one of our office locations (CO only currently) or flex your time.
