The Sr.

Manager of Sales Training supports the Sales Training Department in all training aspects with respect to the field sales team to include AVPs, Regional Sales Directors and Field Representatives.

This includes assisting the Dir of Sales training with initial development training and ongoing training initiatives that will enhance both product knowledge and selling skills.

Exhibits exceptional degree of understanding of the clinical problems facing our physician customers
Exhibit exceptional knowledge of Biodesix products and their clinical applications and benefits of Biodesix products.
Exhibits exceptional knowledge of the sales process and proper onboarding of accounts.
Exhibits excellent coaching skills.

Assists the Director of Sales Training in ensuring the team grasps concepts and can execute learnings to move the business forward.

This may include 1:1 virtual meetings or co travel as needed to support the needs of the business.
Generates and deliver original training content based off business needs as determined by the CCO, Dir of Sales Training, AVPs/ RSDs, and Marketing
Assists with enhancing and updating the current training programs and products
Analyzes using agreed upon metrics to measure clinical training programs and products impact, effectiveness, appropriateness, and utility.
A contributor to long range planning, brand planning, launches and other projects that necessitate training initiatives.
Conducts regular field visits, working with field staff and management one-on-one or in teams.

Provides field consultation, team and/or individual coaching and development, enabling hands-on learning/development support to the assigned employee/management groups.
Successfully manages vendor projects and on-going vendor relationships.
Assists the Director of Sales Training in new hire on-boarding sales training and follow-up for all sales personnel, including but not limited to managing the sales training agenda, ensuring pre-training and post training learning modules are up to date, connecting with current presenters for content updates, 1:1 roleplays, conducting field rides, etc.

Very strong communication skills, both written and verbal
An understanding of the competitive landscape and customer needs

Exhibits a high degree of flexibility in adapting to a rapidly changing environment.
Strong presentation style with proven ability to make group presentations at regional and national meetings and to major customers.
Strong organizational, scheduling, planning, and prioritizing abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.
Business travel, by air or car, is required for regular internal and external business meetings

Bachelor’s Degree
A minimum of 2 years’ previous sales experience with strong performance in the pharmaceutical, biotech, oncology, or other related industry.
Consistently met or exceeded assigned sales targets, other goals, and objectives
