Fort Collins Nursery is an independent retail nursery and garden center located in Fort Collins, Colorado and operating continuously since 1932.

As one of the oldest businesses in the region, we have an established customer base and are a well-known brand throughout northern Colorado and southern Wyoming.

As our company grows, so too has our staff, and we are in need of a dedicated Human Resources Manager to help us continue to grow and thrive.
About the HR Manager position
We are looking for an enthusiastic HR Manager to implement a variety of human resource programs.

The HR department will depend on your assistance in a number of important functions such as staffing, compensation and benefits, and training and development.

Due to the diversity of responsibilities of the role, the ideal candidate will be a competent and resourceful individual with a passion for HR.
The goal is to ensure the HR department’s operations will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization as a whole.
This position offers year-round employment, 30-40 hours/week.
Salary range is $45k-$55k per year, DOE.
Benefits include health insurance, dental and vision insurance, HSA, and 401k once eligibility requirements are met.
Job Requirements:
HR Manager responsibilities are:
Overseeing recruiting, hiring, training, and onboarding of new employees.

Maintaining records and updating employee forms.

Developing and maintaining employee support and dispute resolution programs.

Overseeing and implementing employee benefit programs.

Developing and maintaining employee performance programs.

Developing and maintaining employee training programs.

Managing payroll through a third-party processor.

Filing yearly reports, forms, and benefits audits.

Identifying third-party HR service providers to manage aspects of HR program as appropriate.

HR Manager requirements are:
Experience as a HR Generalist Providing compensation plans Aiding in the recruitment processes Implementing programs to create an efficient workplace Monitoring compensation performance Being able to utilize HR metrics Effective communication skills BA/BS in Human Resource Management or a related field
