In this role, you will manage a team of global vendors that support scaling efforts with a variety of cross-functional teams for a host of exciting products/service offerings from Google. You will use your project management skills and innovative thought process to recommend solutions that will help improve evolving workflows and prepare them for scaling. Whether the answer is a bespoke solution to solve a unique problem, or a new tool that can scale across Google, everything we do aims to ensure our customers benefit from the full potential of Google products.To learn more about gTech, check out our video.Additional Information(Colorado only*) Minimum salary of $106,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.* Note: Disclosure as required by sb19-085 (8-5-20) of the minimum salary compensation for this role when being hired into our offices in Colorado.Responsibilities* Manage financials/metrics and workflow allocation for global projects on vendor operations cutting across multiple geographies, suppliers, and platforms.* Be a liaison for multiple vendor groups, identifying process opportunities, working with teams to help streamline operations through review of vendor data, driving operational excellence, removing redundancies in the process, handoffs, etc. by driving improvement of vendor performance.* Identify opportunities to transition slightly mature workflows to most appropriate locations, as well as ensure adequate process documentation/training material metrics and relevant frameworks are in place.* Work closely with cross-functional teams, Strategy teams, Vendor Partners, and other business teams to review the volume changes, forecasting, and capacity planning, and help teams prepare accordingly.* Own and drive key initiatives/programs impacting global vendor operations (such as quality, documentation, knowledge management, etc.).
